Dr. Mei Zeng is a professor of pediatrics and She has 25 years of experience in management and clinical research of pediatric infectious diseases. Dr. Zeng was educated at Fudan University in Shanghai, China, where she obtained degrees in MD, PhD, as well as certification of senior specialist in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She had a six-month pediatric infectious diseases training at BC Children’s Hospital, Vancouver in Canada in 2008. Dr Zeng’s major areas of interest focus on the epidemiological studies of the role of different pathogens in vaccine-preventable infections, emerging and re-emerging infections, antibiotic resistance and stewardship, and vaccine-related issues in childhood. She is now leading the first vaccination assessment clinic for special pediatric population in mainland China.
