Biography: Since 2014, is responsible for the global medical strategy of the vaccines of the Polio-Pertussis-Hib franchise of Sanofi Pasteur. Previously was head of Global Medical Affairs from 2010 to 2013, R&D Program Leader for the Polio-Pertussis-Meningitis-Hib franchise from 2004 to 2009, in charge of the clinical development of different vaccines as deputy head of Clinical Development, Aventis Pasteur France and R&D project leader for two investigational products from 1999 to 2003. From August 1995 to December 1998, was at Pasteur Mérieux Connaught USA, Swiftwater, PA, in charge of the development of different pediatric combined vaccines. From October 1991 to July 1995 was at Pasteur Mérieux Connaught France, Marnes-la-Coquette, as the R&D Project Leader and responsible for the clinical development program of a vaccine against Hepatitis A until its successful first license. From August 1986 to September 1991 was at Rhône Mérieux, Lyon, France, one of the mother companies of Mérial, as head of a R&D unit in parasitology in charge of two new vaccine projects (canine babesiosis & canine leishmaniasis).

Diplomed in Medicine 1983, Lyon, France, in Tropical Medicine (1983, Lyon, France), in Biostatistics (1984, Villejuif, France) and held of M.Sc. degree in Biological and Medical Sciences (1985, Lyon, France). Followed the Applied Epidemiology course in 1986 (IES CDC program, Veyrier du Lac, France). Author or co-authors of several scientific publications and presented at various national and international medical conferences.
